Jeanerette Museum Now Open More Days for Tourists to Visit
The Jeanerette Museum has expanded its tour days. The museum is now open each Friday to give weekend visitors the opportunity to tour its grounds. Special weekend tours are also available, but must be scheduled. Jeanerette Chamber of Commerce Farmer's Market
Jeanerette Farmers Market will be held on the second Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to noon at the Jeanerette City Park. The next markets will be held on Jan. 10, Feb. 14, March 14 & April 11. For more information contact them at or email .
A Tour of American Music with Gal Holiday Coming this November
Live music by the band Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Revue will be featured at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 9 at the Jeanerette Museum. This performance is being held free of charge and is open to all ages.
Yesterday's Tomorrows: Uncovering the Past to Open at Museum
A time capsule will be opened and a new local exhibit will open during a special celebration of the ten year anniversary of the Smithsonian Exhibit, Yesterday's Tomorrows at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 9 at the Jeanerette Museum. Jeanerette Live: Music, Kids Zone, Vendors Featured on Main Street
Jeanerette Live will feature over 30 vendors, food and shopping along with a Kids Zone from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, November 8. Also featured will be bands throughout the day including the feature band, Krossfyre; the Yum Yum Band, 5 o'clock Shadow band, the Great Pretenders band, and Vibes R & B band. Entre Nous Readies to Present Cake Walk During Jeanerette Live
The Entre Nous Club will have a Cake Walk during Jeanerette Live on Saturday, November 8. The cake walk is set to begin at noon at the pavilion on Main Street and will feature homemade or professionally made cakes (not store bought). Join in the fun.
